Posted by Shelley B. on May 27, 2008 04:16 PM Hi! My husband and 4 children (boys) will be spending this summer in Italy running a Study Abroad program for the Academy of Art Univ. of San Francisco. We have spent time in Italy in the past including 2 years for my husband's Master's program in Fine Art Painting. I have been contemplating setting up Art Camp or American Summer Camp while we are there this summer. We have taught many children's classes over the years. What type of class are you looking for? How old is your child(children)? Where do you live? We are living in Corciano which is outside of Perugia close to Lake Trasimeno. Depending on how close or far away you are maybe we could set something up for once a week between June 12 - August 7th. We don't have a ceramic studio, however we could teach watercolor, oil painting or a variety of arts and crafts. I could arrange a tour of a local ceramiche. They have let us work at the wheel when we've brought groups in the past. If you want to discuss this more feel free to email me at shelleybowen@hotmail.com. |
